I am an experienced design practitioner who delights in deploying empathy, strategy and creativity to simplify problems and help people achieve their goals.
For the past 10+ years I have worked as a Human Centred Design practitioner, designing public services with users, professionals and institutions to deliver better outcomes and great experiences. Having recently added UX and UI to my skillset, I am proud to mindfully design interactions across analog and digital.
I am an experienced, reliable and versatile professional, who thrives working with all kinds of people to generate ideas and bring them to life. Over the course of my career I have:
- led teams creating new health service solutions powered by people’s knowledge and defined by their aspirations
- been an architect of system change, supporting the co-creation of a vision for better mental health in a community, learning about adopting new approaches to service delivery, creating the conditions to scale innovations that work
- designed and run programmes to find and grow new ideas for multiplying giving and sharing, or growing resilience in communities
- coached innovators in startups and public bodies, acting as a sounding board for their strategies and helping them apply a user-centric approach
- created impactful learning experiences to help professionals in the public and private sectors find new ways of approaching problems and developing solutions
- designed the user interface for a time travelling website - from ux research to prototype and testing
